    Hey folks,

I am planning a wee trip on the bike over to NI for the NW200 racing. I have booked the ferry over to stay from the Thursday to the Sunday.

Just need somewhere to stay. Having never been before does anybody have any experience of where to stay and where to go during my time there?

    Kind Regards

Plenty to do whilst yout there. Visit joeys bar in ballymoney and see the tributes to joey and Robert.. Giants causeway is fascinating . Hsve a run on the coastal road from Belfast to collaraine.. Wow it's amazing! University, station, metropole and the magic roundabout are top places to watch.. I was there when Micheal won the 250 race after Robert had been killed. That's something I'll never forget

I'm going - just need to book ferry. Prob. going HSS Thursday 10:30 from Holyhead and back on the slow boat to Birkenhead from Belfast - pals have got it booked inc. a cabin so can change to civies and get some kip or just chill out - its then about 45 mins home to Manchester from there.

For an alternative place to stay if you struggle the Premier Inn at Carrickfergus was £39 a night for fri and sat. You then get the coast road to / from the racing but know for some sitting with a few pints and being local is important.

Want to see Joey's bar on Friday and watch on Thursday from a different place - the family whose garden we watched in from last year invited us back for this year and really looked after us
