Just realised that 5 months today and I'm old yes I will hit the big 30! I'm depressed! The mrs wants to know if I will grow up when I hit 30?
4 months next Thursday, i'll be Rossi's race number in age, now that is depression!! My missus...she just wants to trade me in, and no i'll never grow up!
You should be ok for a while but please don't ever consider a'' drag over'' hair job as then you will know that, you are proper finished!!

Thank you Gary. I shall expect Phantom to drop my face into that one any minute now. Martin. I did start growing up in 1983 and it's doing quite nicely so far. It'll take a while to finish though and probably by then Mr Altzheimer will already be reversing the effects.
It is old Remel, when I hit 30 it have a negative effect on my life, hitting 40 was less dramatic but not good. I'm now 3 years off 50 and I'm now very much aware of my own mortality. 30 is just the start on the road to old age and don't let anyone tell you different, By the way happy birthday
Happy Birthday in advance Martin. 30 Puuh, you’re just a mere whipper snapper. When I was 30 I looked better out of clothes. Turning 40 was really depressing and took a good while to come to terms with; Turning 50 came and went without any major issues other then I now look better in clothes then out of them. In answer to your question regarding growing up, that’s up to you, but personally I might look different but my brain still thinks I am 18 but its just a bit more clogged up with the baggage of life. Enjoy it, embrace it, life is only what you make of it. Look forward with optimism rather then looking back with regrets. Now, if only I could practise what I preach I might not be such an old grumpy git.

I like to think of it as the "I no longer give a shit age"..... House nearly paid for,kids have buggered off,do what i want ,when i want and how i want...... Getting old is great......
I agree, I am 4 months off 60, I still love stretching the legs of my Blade, and am looking forward to a few track days this year, I have a classic car in the garage, I go out when I want, eat where I want, drink what I want dress how I want and no longer give a s**t what anyone thinks. As long as you have your health then it does not matter how old you are. My philosophy is your never too old to misbehave!
