Oil filter o ring

    Should there be an O ring for the oil filter on a 06 blade. Got genuine Honda filter but there is no O ring? Never known this before?

    Same filter as the 05 I think, in which case yeah, should have an o-ring.
    Like you say - never seen an external filter that didn't have one.

    Never seen any oil filter without a seal.
