Oil leak?

Hi all when have taken advantage of the good weather and got some miles on the blade well into being ran in now. Anyway when cleaning I noticed a small weep of oil on the offside of the bike where the senors wire??? is clipped onto the casing under the rubber pipe see pic and blue mark.

Anyone had similar issues on a 2018 MY blade?

I seem to recall reading something about that, but can't remember where. Sorry. (Might be something to do with a rubber seal beneath the sensor unit?)

Can't you just whip it in to your dealer - must still be covered by warranty, in which case you're best not touching it.

 

Yes it is under warranty I will mention it when it goes in for its first service. I was just wondering if it was common and it is good in a way that you have herd of it.

Just had a look at mine, no signs of oil.

You sure it's oil??

 

I remember something like this on here but like Nigel I can't recall the detail.

Dealer should be able to sort it.

Also, try and use smaller pictures in future.

To be fair, @hitch , it is only a SMALL leak!!

 

If I try really hard I should be able to make it a bit smaller not much though

 

Thanks Nigel it looks the same sort of thing it is definitely oil not as bad as the pics in the post that were huge by the way
