SL/CF ACEA A3/B3 WSS-M2C913-B 5W 30. I'm not up on this stuff, any boffins out there tell me if this is a good spec? Friend of mine gave me 10Lts.
The cold viscosity (5W = Winter) is lower than recommended. Will be good in cold weather, especially if your bike's low mileage. Oil that has the JASO T903 spec is better. The manual says SAE 10W/30 & API higher than SG, which your oil is. I'd pay out for the right oil from a good brand, personally.
I bought this recently. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 It's 10W/40, but my bikes pushing 30k miles.
The API specs are S for a petrol engine (e.g. SL) & C for a Diesel (e.g. CF) The second letter in those codes is the quality rating & how it performs in each engine type. The further down the alphabet - the 'better' the oil, but as you say @Jez, the better ones aren't so good with wet clutches. I personally wouldn't choose or use anything higher than an SH oil.
5w can increase your oil consumption. your oil has all the signs of being made for cars. I would keep it for the car and buy JASO (designed for bikes) rated oil.
