Posted this in maintenance section but has no answers.
I have a rr7 track bike with full micron system and a few modifications done to it.
When you switch it on, the round red light with a oil can and temp sign comes on and goes out (normal) but after a second or two comes back on and stays on. The fi symbol is also on.
I have done all the checks with the oil pressure switch and it is fine.
    Why would it be on?
    Thanks
    John

Regarding the FI light, could this be due to a lack of O2 sensor? I understand that fitting a non-OE full exhaust system would mean the O2/Lambda sensor has nowhere to go... not too sure what SHOULD have been done to accommodate this when the exhaust was fitted though... does it have a piggy-back ECU (e.g. Power Commander) fitted?
Similarly, the lack of an exhaust valve might be triggering the FI light, if this hasnt been cleverly countered by fitting a "servo eliminator".

I believe there is a way to interrogate the on-board diagnostics... you connect a couple of wires together, and the FI light flashes out a sequence that you can look up to find the problem... there is a step-by-step guide on the forum somewhere...

There is a pc3 fitted to it.
Would the red light come on with the fi light? I guessed the fi light would be on as the servo is not connected.
Its just the red light that's bothering me as if it does drop oil pressure, I'm going to know sod all about it!!

I can have a look in my manuals when I get home... fairly sure both the Haynes manual and the Honda manual go into detail about various warning modes.

If it were me, my next step would be to interrogate the OBD... otherwise you are only guessing what the problem might be... get the OBD to tell you exactly what its whingeing about, and that will remove any guesswork.

Further, I dont know how complex these bike OBD systems are, but on my beemer, it can keep displaying the light just because it ONCE recorded a problem, and the OBD just needs to be cleared.
