A company called Fotga used to do all kinds of mis match adaptors Matt, American I think. We used to get them through Introphoto when we did cameras.

For a Panasonic camera don't be put off buying Panasonic themselves. Their shops are always happy to do deals and they often have offers they don't give their dealers. I've always used Panasonic video kit and always got the deal I wanted from the Panasonic centre.

Try walking into the shop with Joe Soaps price on a piece of paper. I got a £999 camcorder for £799 a few years ago by saying that I liked the spec of the dearer model but had seen it at the lower price online. They also took about £50 off a compact I bought for Jeanette at the same time. If they cant do price for price matching, they have 'Managers Specials' discretion on accessories and warranty's.

May get some real bargains at Joe Soaps if you're quick.

ascrap that, the closest Panasonic dealer is Newport from me. No Jessops and LCE does not do the camera I want

Any tips on good online dealers to get a Panasonic GX1?

Well you can buy direct from Panasonic online Matt, but they never do deals.

You could try Warehouse Express, Jacobs Digital or amazon.

There's always eBay too, but make sure it's a UK company rather than one from Asia (otherwise you have to pay duty + vat + there's no warranty)

Calumet are another one, but I've found them to be a bit expensive
