Did any of you today get the option to pay by direct debit or is it just from 1st November?

No WAY I am going to the post office, the old bird behind three feet of glass is like a member of the Gestapo, I'm bald and have tatoos and an ear ring, last time I was placed into quarantine, had to give DNA and a swab plus mothers maiden name and family tree info, full passport checks and a SVA inspections, colour of motorcycle and where its stored, when was it last use and type of fuel applied, one seat, two? plus had to que for a week while the "olds" cash in the weekly and ID forgotten items that they have to post, you know the standard stuff you have to do when you visit a post office, thats once you have found one as half the fekers have been closed down!

Government puts something online and the website crashes. Hardly news is it ;)

Bet they do the normal "lot busier than we expected" routine, and these are the people who are expected to plan and scale for the whole country.
