Just went to pop my bike up onto its rear paddock stand and wondered why I couldn't locate the right hand cotton reel only to find out that it wasn't there. Apparently one's fallen off while I've been riding
Always worth checking your nuts are tight before you go out. I lock tighted mine on when I fitted them.
I had something similar happen to me with my crash bung; always apply some thread lock now. The missus has never walked the same since
I was upset about losing one of the blobs off mine, until Fez pointed out it wasn't there in a photo I'd taken in May. So it probably wasn't there when I bought it.
I know it was there a couple of weeks ago. God knows where I've lost it. I just hope it didn't hit some poor bugger £25.00 for two new ones
I lost a bar end without realising until the dealer pointed it out. :-/ Thankfully cheap(ish) to replace, but of course you can only buy them in pairs!
dave lost his tax disc holder when we went out, luckily we retraced our steps and found it, but that was because i had a blonde moment and didnt lock tite it on!! hope you manage to find a replacement. just had a vision of some old man walking down the road and being hit by your reel and his little face in surprise thinking he'd been shot!! xx
See, thats the trouble with girls, not enough of them understand the importance of a decent thread locking compound. And they're rubbish up ladders too.
Unless you’re at the bottom of the ladder footing it, said with a grin like a wnaking china man for the second time today
Seek Ken, i never made the same mistake again and i'd always locktighted stuff on before, see i even know its the dark blue one!! (yes i can see you shaking your head in complete shock!!) lol As for ladders, forget it mate, dave had me on the garden shed putting new roofing felt on, i was ok getting up there, but i'l be buggered if i could get back down again, it took me a good ten minutes of i cant get off! my leg doesnt reach there, and what if i fall and Dave almost having a heart attack he was laughing so much before i finally fell off the bloody thing! xx
Hang on. Dave gets you to fit stuff on his bike, fix the shed roof. This geezer's seriously cracked it guys.
