Have you got a nest then Dave? Had wasps in the garage last year and pest control wanted 40 quid to get rid! Dressed in full leathers and lid and did it myself with four cans of raid and a spade, the last big one out of the nest took nearly a full can to drop it.
Haha, that's my missus's technique. She chases them around the house, hosing them down with Raid. The poor buggers drown before they're poisoned!

Nest destroyer and a fishing pole works a treat. Fill tip of pole with nest killer..... Extend pole to a least 5 meters. Push pole though outer shell. Blow in the powder..... Run like fcuk. Next day do it again. One does should work but sod that off. End of day 2 Put pole on neat listen at other end..... If no noises, Man up rip it down and drop it in a bag.... In bin
