Agree very crap design I snapped mine pushing it out of the garage when it caught on a brush hung from the rafters took no effort at all. I stripped drilled and pinned it for a while but the repair stopped it folding which was a pain, got a new one off ebay (someone selling bits off a bike he was prepping for track ) still have the one I pinned (its fine except for its permanent erection ie will not fold) yours for a very small sum and postage

    Toth PS its black

I had my Suzuki ones snap..just waiting for the Blade ones to do the same trick.
I fold my mirrors in every time the bikes get put in the shed, so they get a lot of stresses.

Out of interest..does anyone on here ride without mirrors on the road ?
Been thinking for a while of taking mine off completely as I find them distracting whilst riding as well as the faff about of folding them in and out all the time.

Exactly the same place on that elbow where mine sheared on my old 10 plate, yet another design fault that Honda allow their customers to carry the can for

Clipped mine this morning on my commute with forty miles to go it was hanging on by the indicator wire. F@#king lorry and van decided they needed all the road. Still only caught my wing mirror not me or the handlebar, mirror now cable tied to get me home, replacement ordered coming tomorrow. More money down the drain. :(
