Anyone have / use one? I don't have power in my garage, so thought this might be the perfect solution, just wondered if anyone had one and if it works ok?
Hi, I made my own about 5 years ago panel from ebay. reg and plugs from maplins , it charges 2 bikes and works perfectly. all in cost less than £15 it also charges my drill batteries. It all depends how handy you are as you will need to put on a regulator or in summer it will cook the battery. I guess the optimate will be good as you only need a small charge to top up,
