Has anyone got info or photos of the inside of the original exhaust? I'm wondering what the second flapper inside is and does.
I've seen on the forum that older bikes have a second "pressure" flap and there's definitely a spring that could open a flap inside my exhaust as per photo. Would be good to see if anyone has cut open the original.
Don't suppose anyone has any experience of opening up an original 2015 exhaust? I think there are 3 chambers and I'm looking at cutting through one and then reinstating the servo flapper. Plan is to have a quiet bike leaving home and noisy when I open her up! Hopefully the servo flapper doesn't close up over a certain speed or gear?!? Anyone know for sure if it's just closed at idle and less than 5k revs?
im sure iv seen an x ray and what I can remember was inside there's a welded camber inside, don't think u can do anything past the flapper mod
If love to see that photo of the x-ray. Maybe even more so than a photo of Rachael Riley in her birthday suit!
