Had a Fantastic day at Oulton yesterday shared a garage with a great bunch ranging from first time on a track day to A.C.U license holders and the big bonus was it stayed dry and the SUN made an appearance for an hour of so.
Nice pics Tom but wouldn't you rather the photographer placed himself in a better position to capture some lean angle? Same model as my road bike, looks mean and fast. Seems like you had a top day, look forward to meeting you there if you plan any more which I'm sure you will
i know what you mean mate, at the latest track day i done, some of the photo's were great, but none coming through paddock hill!? wtf is that about? like not taking pics at the mountain at cadwell... prob too far for the lazy git to walk.... do think some of the photographers at these events are becoming complacent tbh.... ps - glad you had a good day tom!!
Yeah know what you mean, I think there was only 2 of them covering the day. Great day and it was the first time for me at Oulton and first time on a blade, I lost a bit of confidance when I had an off a while back on my first blade so this was really a confidance builder really. Edit it add. My Mrs took the first pic and I'm not really cross eyed.
good to get your mojo back mate!! they are cool pics dont get me wrong, but sometime think they dont get to the best spots as too far away from the pits
Hi Tom did see the bike but not you Pictures are very good IMO .. Good colour , sense of speed , I like them . Were they off track photographer ? I know what jimbo means and a lot of photographers just do a couple of corners and a straight shot , i try to get too has many corners as possible , Missing the mountain or paddock hill Bend at those circuits , well its just not worth turning up .
Hey up Barney, Yes mate they are the photographers for no limits, Alex James photography. The few above are just a selection from all but the last session. What time was you there? I took the Mrs over to Dear Leap about 12.00 then over for some lunch, I think that was the only time we wasn't in the garages.
I was there about 11 ish , there was a nice gsxr for sale black one £4k I'm sure when I was leaving you was walking back to pit area with a ruck sack / coat in hand coming from the shop / toilets near to pits .
That could well of been me, I left Deb at Dear Leap with my camera. I seem to recall someone in a transtit size van near to shop.
