I am booked in with a mate from work on the 17th, just look for a gsxr 1000 with the worst sparkly blue and dull white paintwork and a blue old r1 with some orangy stripes ,probably on the back of a red audi a4estate
Just tried booking in on the 23rd July its saying Inters is booked don't fancy novice but don't fancy fast ? It said to contact about cancellation places has anyone ever done this where you turn up and hope you get out?
So booked in for the 23rd July in FAST Group only because inters was booked after getting good advise from Scooby I think I should be ok . I will shadow Scooby from a long distance to see how it should be done . Apparently if I feel uncomfortable I can asked to be moved .
I am going to Oulton on the 23rd with another of my Milton Keynes mates. He is in fast group on a R6 (with sharks teeth on the front) I am in Inters on a old Kwaka ZX7R.

Well tommorows track day looks like its going to be a washout looking at the forecast. Not sure if to bother turning up as dont mind 1 or 2 in the wet but not all day. Hopefully they get it wrong .
yea my mate just said that (about it being wet that is) thought it was going to be nice till later,then thnder storms.will have another look for a weather site that gives agood report and go off that 1
Well its pissing down and the wets are on, oh and I am in Fast group because inters was full.oh Shit HEeeeeeelp
Well an eventfull first few sessions. My back brake locked on which made the rear disc get that hot it was glowing red. Not sure what caused it as I wasn't even using it pads are knackered ?Any ideas anyone I replaced the rear fluid and bled it the other day. And then my chain come off due to be rushing to get the wets changed. Enjoying been in the fast group which I didn't think I would , lunch and a cool down as its fecking boiling on leathers . Was on wets for the first sessions then the track dried out so back on normal tyres.
Well what a great day in the end, pissing it down while we had the briefing then it stopped track was very wet but put the wets on and that sorted that out( these tyres are fecking awesome ), pretty chuffed as i was in fast group today thought I did ok and I wasn't the slowest ,I went 2nd out in the 2 nd session on wets behind Scooby and only got passed by 2 riders must be doing something right. (Before Steve or Andy say no they weren't on slicks and there was a lot in the group . Changed on to normal tyres after 2 sessions as track Was bone dry and then had a fantastic rest of the day There was a few red flags in all the groups but I only missed a bit of one session . Roll on next week for the 1000rr track day hope the weather is good especially for Gary b as he will Be popping his track day cherry ,also met djmrmagic of here top lad who I think also enjoyed himself .
