Trying to gauge how many are intending to attend Oulton Park next Friday "25/10/13"

I know Jason the Oulton Whore is there, plus myself, so wondering if there's a few more? Try and get a garage if you like where we can all chat some shyte/take the Pi55 and have a catch up face to face. :)

    :Edit: sorry. With no limits.

What will be will be. And all that jazz.
Not having wow yet, I won't even entertain going out on track. But it's still a good excuse for seeing some motorcycle action and a bit of a social with those that do :)

The Fox was booked in on this date but unfortunately I've been summoned to give evidence at Bolton Magistrates Court! May make an appearance later if I can convince them the law is an ass!!

In answer to your question Sinewave, I might be able to make Oulton on the 1st Nov but I won't be booking it, just turning up on the day. Can't believe my last two tracks of the year were a total washout! Wish I was going with Jason!

Funny Wellies and washout are mentioned. remember, This is no ordinary track day.
This is a Garyb track day. Rain is part of the deal.
Just been looking at cancelling and perhaps doing the 1st or 2nd of November instead.
You know what, it's no Fcukin different. Rain is forcast on the long range for both those days, Infact, worse predicted than this Fridays forecast.
I'm £89 into the day with no wets, I'll see nearer the time but if it's going to be as good as its saying? I'll cut my losses and be staying home.
    Long live the British weather.
Trackbike for sale thread coming very soon ;)

Why not buy the wets on wheels that Chris still has to sell Gary?

Can you make Anglesey on sat the 26th

That's an overnight stay for Gary Al. Cost of track, wets on wheels, B+B plus fuel..........he doesn't work for an insurance company you know!!

thing is,if you intend to do t/days in this country it's inevitable you'll be doing a good few wet days.

you can either sit out the wet sessions and start to get pissed off about it,or,invest in a spare set of wheels+wets,go out and have some fun in the rain,it really is good fun and improves your riding, and more importantly your confidence out on track.

I wasn't unaware Chris still had them Al, thought he had a buyer lined up for them pretty much soon after, I'll have to look into that.

Lol, next best thing though right. ;)

Sorry, i Wasn't meaning to sound pissy scooby, well aware of the deal mate, just like the last time, I'm quite prepared to sit it out if its too bad. As I just mentioned to Al, I wasn't aware Chris still had the wets on wheels, I never got them at the time as I'd spent my allowance for that month, "we're not all insurance and roofers ;)" and I got the impression he had another buyer lined up for them so it was one of those no pressure moments and ill get some later kind of things
Agreed, with the right kit, you can have as much fun in the wet and as you rightly say, a good learning curve.
I'll still be there regardless come rain or shine, it's still better than working :)
