    Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a good hardy outdoor cover?
Ideally needs to be tight fitting as the bike is kept in the parents garden, currently have a Hein Gericke one which is crap and im constantly reminded how 'unsightly' it looks
Ive heard good things about the oxford rainex, how do they fit?

    Thanks
    Hedges

I've got an Oxford one even has a place to feed your chain through the front wheel strap in the middle and elastic around the back wheel

I went for M oxford stormex with an application of Nikwax tent & gear on top. After an application of the Nikwax to the stormex on my old bike, water started beading on it again rather than just being absorbed.

Ill second a vote for the R&G one, its a great cover Ive had mine for years and its brill it also has numerous openenings for locks too.
I was going to buy another one as since my bike got blown over at work with it on, it now has rips in it.
so I think Im going to try a rigid frame one as Phantom mentioned purely for the agro of finding somewhere for a wet sodden cover indoors when you take it off.
waiting for these to come back in stock gotta be better in the snow etc too.

Got mine from Halfords. It's got little vent thingies by the mirror 'ears' which means if you put it on a wet (warm) bike the bike is dry when you get back to it. It has a bungee underneath to secure it and looks suitably grubby so as not to attract attention. And cheap. Winner.

I've got an Oxford rainex mate, it's not as thick as the stormex but thicker than the aquatex.

Brilliant on my last bike, not tried it on the blade yet
