    Hi Guys

I have attempted, unsuccessfully, to fit a lever guard to my blade for an upcoming track day. By the looks of it I need to remove the throttle assembly to change the inserts for the lever guard. I am not too confident in doing this. Can anyone point me in the direction of a lever guard that will bolt straight onto my bar without any internal modification. 2018 model. Thanks.

This is what I mean by get it moving/lever it out with screwdrivers. Once it's wiggling use the M6 bolt with something heavy that will slide over it as a slide hammer.

I left the insert in my 2017. Added a little silicone sealant and used an R&G guard. One track done, I swap back to the std bar end

Yes Charlie, thanks for your help. I didn’t get round to it until yesterday. Molegrips, light tap with a hammer did the job. I didn’t use a separate screw and ended up bending the original bar end screw. Not the end of the world, I will buy a new one. Bloody pain though. Good to go for the track day at Donnington on Wednesday.
