Ok to inflate, or get a Bridgeport 90deg valve fitted next tyre change, search ebay for them you need 11.3mm

 

looks like they are meant to be a permanent thing, as the valve cap can screw onto this..

 

Yes they are but heavy objects such as this and bling valve caps cause stress on the rubber valve leading to cracks and loss of air I would not leave one on..

not to derail, do you know the size for 09 600rr bridgeport valve size by any chance?

I think it's the same mate, it pays to keep and eye on rubber valve fittings as they perish and crack the tyre fitters should check them or better still replace them when new tyres are fitted.. As for those big bling caps the gyroscopics pulls the heavy valve cap back and in the end they crack and deflate the tyre, be warned it could be at speed for those with golf ball size valve caps..

 

All honda's well all CBR's anyway use 11.3mm bridport valves. I have some on my blade.
