Just noticed that i have quite a lot of oil coming from my selector rod, so i guess the oil seal has bust!!! Funny though as i just had the bike dynoed as well??
I would say you are right, it must have built up back pressure, is your breather tube blocked or obstructed?
Did who? It started leaking after i had the bike dynoed, apperantly tehy do fail on track days given the high revs so it is quite common.
the selector rod sticks out loads and loads of play on it!!! there is some thing on the market that stops the play and rejuices the worn on the seal got a pic some where hang on lol
Yes i have seen that before but only for the early blades? I wonder if they make one for newer models. I shall have a look and let you know. Cheers.
yes they do them for the new blades !! the one i fitted was for the older blade but i had a something that fitted to the sprocket cover that worked i did that cuz i could only get the older giles one at the time

See the little logo on the support mate, thats Gilles, and they make the shift support you image shows.. Back to the seal myself I have not seen any problem with them I asked about the PAIR system as it has been known that the dyno bod blocked the wrong hose at the airbox, one is the crank breather the other is the PAIR/SAS system... An easy mistake IF someone was new maybe..? No big deal and you have it sorted.. EDIT JUST SEEN MY POST IS A PAGE LATE....lol
