More These things are sh## I have still got the RDS issue and they have done nothing about it apart from passing the buck They are good at that And then last time I tried to update the firmware it would not do it. Intern emails and calls and some how I got them to update. Turned them on today and first they would not connect Turned off everything and back on and they started to work. Then find out there is another firmware update and it will not do it again Can’t remember what I done last time to get it to work but it should just be plug and play. Pointless asking cardo because it will be reset you headsets change the cable and so on and none of these things worked last time But I can’t for the life of me remember what I done last time It doesn’t even recognise the headset. My computer make a noise when I plug them in and they start to charge it’s just cardo do not see them If they weren’t so much money I would send them back with a note to put them where the sun don’t shine
I was looking at these as an update. But think I'll stick with what I have. For Fortnine reviewed these a while ago. Came up tops
Their after sales is rubbish And I have been searching and I’m not the only one Cardo make you reset them then blame their own cable then blame your USB’s and tell you to not restart your computer but the program tell you to restart. Then you can’t get an answer. And I must admit when you get up to speed you can’t really hear it anyway
Our tour group bought the Chinese ebay one for £35 each or 2 for £60 several years back, so you had a spare if one failed of worse case they fell off your helmet which did happen. They worked fine kept a group of 10 together, with a group connection of 6, admittingly you had select who you wanted to chat with, but generally worked well and a good bit of banter.. We were all thinking about the Packbold that all the youtubers tour people use connecting up to 15 I believe all together conference style, maybe not !!!!
I had the chin chon ones got 3 for £15 don’t ask. But they weren’t great Brought these £400 Not great I will say they are good for com’s but radio RDS and updating forget it. Do a google and have a look Apparently I’m the only one (email says) but even their Facebook page is full of people not being able to update them. I have finally got one to update by keep unplugging and plugging back in when it tells me and when it doesn’t tell me. Has taken about 7 hours in total I recon, yesterday and today What a waste of my time and still got one to do
When its 2 of us out on the bikes .we just call each other in the headsets . Most people have unlimited calls now and you dont have to worry about line of sight of getting split up.
Sena FTW! PITA to pair up at times, but there's a weird way to do this, by shaking the units, which actually works. Never had problems updating the firmware though. Chin
Finally got them updated no thanks to cardo I have honestly been plugging and unplugging these in about 15-20 times a night to get them to recognise the update even had to hard reset one of them and then it still took about 10-15 attempts Now I have got to set them up again
