Purchased some nice new race fairings for Stanley. They are currently in a white gel coat finish but when held upto the light they are partially see through (you can see the brush strokes of the gel coating). Would like to paint them up for cadwell. Do they need any prep doing to them and what paints wil I have to use?? Primer etc..

    Cheers!!

As wedgie says, key the surface, prime them and then get spraying. Between each coat of top coat though, I would give them a rub down with t-cut or something similar just to smooth them off a bit.
