Could someone confirm the Hayens Manual for a 2006 Blade has got the position of the PAIR and Crank case breather pipes mixed up? This could be disastrous if a marble was pushed down the breather pipe thinking it was the feed to the PAIR system.
Anyone totally removed the PAIR system on a 2006 Blade that can confirm which pipe is which coming out of the airbox? I don't have access to follow the pipe work forward. This thread could stop someone blocking the breather, blowing a gasket and dumping some oil. Thanks
Someone out there got their airbox off of their 2006/7 blade that could post a pic of were these pipe connect to?
I removed the PAIR system entirely on my 2007 blade... and I referred to the Haynes manual as I was going... don't recall it being wrong. That said, I did totally remove the airbox, so would have been pretty obvious which pipe was which. It should be fairly easy to determine which one is the PAIR hose, as it is quite short and goes to a silver box, slightly smaller than fag packet size.
Thanks for the reply I'm confused as someone posted a guide to blocking the pair hose with a marble, which took only 10 mins, No way could this be done if the pair hose is in the centre of the airbox which would need the airbox to be removed.?
This is the pic that makes me think the Hayens manual is wrong, only want to blank PAIR system for a Dyno tune, if the pair hose is on the right and not the centre of the airbox, there is access without removing the airbox. "Don't cap this" is connected to the crank case breather and would not reach the far side of the airbox?
Yep, i see your problem... sorry mate, I just cannot remember for sure what it looked like underneath my airbox. And I wouldn't like to guess and end up partially responsible for trashing your bike!
