pair valve removal guide

    Thought I would make this little guide if anyone else was

    start to finish without a fitting guide took me less than an hour.

    Have you felt any difference since doing the pair mod?

    it doesn't pop anymore but I done it for when I get round to fitting an autotune and getting custom maps done.
    it is also meant to lower the running temp but I wasnt out that long to notice.power wise its only
    meant to add 1lb-ft of torque so no big gains to be had there.

    So if you just wanted to try out this mod without doing the full removal you could just block off the Pair intake on the bottom of the airbox??

    yup exactly, block the intake in the airbox.
    I just like to de clutter around the engine lol.

    the pair valve intake if you want to block the pair valve?

    Yea iv stuck bolts in the end of my pipes an didn't know about the pipe in the air box. I Spose untill I realised when I put it back on

    you plug the airbox as well as the hole is after the airfilter and this is to stop
    cr@p getting in the hole and straight into your engine intakes.
