Passenger footrests adapter cbr 1000rr / sc59

I made at the moment ONE set of passenger footrests adapter, with hook for bike transporting(something simmiliar to Sato street hooks)

I made it of 10mm steel wich i will now galvanize and powder coat black. It weights not much more than aluminium, i will have to check it and will give you correct weight.

I'm posting this to check if any of you could be interested in a set of these?

i'm able to make 10sets of these adapetrs, as i say galvanized and powdercoated black for 27pounds + 7 pounds shipping costs from Poland.

Post here if you are interested, i make a list. When there will be 10 of you i will make them all.

 

it MAY be cheaper postage wise, for you to ship them all to one UK guy (if all happen to be buyers from the UK) then he posts them out. just an option.

I've checked today and it's possible to powdercoat them in different colours, not only black

 

from now on also light aluminium version avaliable (8mm)

 

i've bought at good price sheet of ti6061 aluminium, i will do sets for 19.90 pounds

I don't have an option to anodize aluminium...so at the moment only silver(clear aluminium) ones are avaliable.

You can paint it, or the best option is to anodize it...

Yep, so long as the anodising can be painted over - I thought aluminium need to be etch primed before being painted to avoid corrosion ? or does anodising do the same thing?

 

aluminium wont corride, anodising allows you to change colour.

Aluminuim that i use is a good material, doing things for myself since few years, no problems

 

aluminium dosent corrose .
are you wiling to sell 1 of the aluminium sets or you need to make 10 again ?

the sheet of aluminuim allowed me to make 6 sets, wich i have at home. I've already sold one set to to guy from jersey and shipping cost to UK will be 8 pounds each.
