My new pazzo levers arrived yeaterday from a supplier I have never used before. I decided to check the model numbers on the levers against Pazzos fitting list. My levers are listed as being specifically for a 2003-2006 CBR 600. F33 and H33 which are listed for 2006/07 fireblade are the short type, so I expect these might be the right ones as I wanted standard length. I have emailed the supplier and asked if they will fit, but wanted some unbiased views/opinions from you guys please. Also, the brake lever has the Pazzo logo on it but the clutch lever doesn't....is this normal or is there a chance I am perhaps being done here ? Thanks in advance.
I know when i had my pazzo's on before the ones i have now, they fitted daves blade which is an 07 because when he got new ones i wanted his ones so he swapped them onto my bike, we'd messed around with each others as we had different colours. then i decided i wanted different ones again so got the ones i have!! I prefer the shorties to the standard length levers anyday, but thats just me. xx
If you want them to look the same length you will need one long and one short for the 06-07 blade.. I think you need a long brake and a short clutch? Or you will have a very long clutch to the eye....or at least I think thats how it was... For model numbers you need to talk to speedycom..
Cheers Benn, Hobey and Arthur, glad the logo thing is right and it seems from what you are saying Hobey the fit should be fine.
Just read the thread again...yeah I am slow.... 600RR is cable clutch mate so you may want to double check the fit!
Thanks Arthur, I have sent another email to them pointing this out. Sometimes I wish I knew even a little about mechanical things. I was good at putting out fires though and freeing people from wreckage.....doesn't help much with bike stuff though.
I have a Titan lever on my RR8 blade which was listed for a CBr6 and fits perfectly. I have pazzo clutch and brake levers on another bike I will check the logo thing out for you and get back to you.
Thanks Blade and a big thanks (yet again) to Arthur who pointed out the main issue. I checked the clutch lever against the one on the bike and there was no way it would fit, even my mechanical skill level (zero) could see that. Phoned dealer, who has apologised a lot and I have sent them back and they are paying the return postage. So all should end well......hopefully.
