Right I bought a pc3 second hand for what I think was a bargain price of 100quid??
I have the unit and all wires attatched to it but how do you transfer the info from your pc to the unit?
    An I missing a part?

Also any advice on fitting would be great
    Thanks
    Martin

Mine ( 2nd hand) came with a disc which I dont think you need as you can download maps and a cable usb end one side and mini usb the other side like on a camera

You need the software on your laptop, and also a 9v battery connected to the pc3 and a USB cable into your laptop.

when you have it fitted turn the bikes ignition on and connect to a laptop with a mini usb and send the map,
you should get it up on a dyno and get a custom map ,I had my old 954 done and the differance was unreal,
Ive just ordered a pc3 for my 1000rr last night, and cant wait to get it on the bike:D

100 is a fair price, you only need the 9v batt lead to power it up while connected to the PC.

It's easy to fit BUT everyone forgets to set the TPS the most important part of fitting PC3 or PCV! Open the soft ware, select set TPS, click reset, fully open and close the thottle and select OK/ save. If you don't do this the PC will not know what's fully closed throttle and your map file will be out.

Also some bikes power down the PC3 once the post checks and fuel pumps primed/purged the system, that also turns off the PC3 even when the ignition is on, it's then the 9v batt is required to set TPS and load maps without the bike running, setting the TPS with a running bikes is . . . . . . . well . . . . . . . interesting......lol
