My power commander v arrived this morning and its fitted. I loaded it with a map from the dynojet website for a full yoshi system and k snd n filter. Its been pouring of rain most of the day so did not try it out. Tomorrow is meant to be around here so will hopefully give it a spin. I have used this map until I get time to get a custom map. I just hope it runs ok as im not the best with computers, meaning I hope it took the right map. Cheers

Cheers navvy10, I was hoping it would be good straight out of the box, maybe tomorrow I will know.

I went on to fit the Yoshi headers and then put the Dynojet map on for that and the tuners said the map wasn't far off at all and just tweaked it for me saving the cost of extra dyno time doing a full map from start. So I think you're in very safe hands for now ;)

I did the same with my 04, downloaded the map from dynojet for my mods and it ran fine but recently had a custom map and the difference is like night and day. Regardless of whether it runs fine with the downloaded map I'd seriously recommend getting a custom one done.

Absolutely get a remap mate it gets your bike fueling spot on and the extra pick up at lower revs is very addictive ;)

    Cheers lads,
I managed about 50 miles today, roads were wet with some dry bits but did manage to give it a bit of stick.
very impressed so far, it felt flawless. I will leave as is just now and hopefully get a custom winter/spring. I'm still wondering who is nearest for a remap, I'm in Dumfries. I see there is one in Ashinton, just north of Newcastle.
