I have just installed the pcv software on to my laptop, my pcv is supposed to have a map already loaded onto it but i cant find it anywhere on the pcv programme. can anybody point me in the right direction please also i have been watching this youtube video on how to install it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhQiKR9Ugeo i would just like to know what do you do with the connectors that you dont use from the pcv as only half of them are being used
Are you saying the power commander itself has no map or the PCV programme on your laptop has no maps on it?
i couldnt find the map on the programme, but its ok i found it now, the phrase couldnt see the wood for the trees springs to mind
Yeah at first when I looked at the program and opened up the maps I was like "How the F**k am I supposed to know what all these daft codes mean?" Then I realized if you click view and show notes it has a nice little description of each coded map
Ping Martin direct at Dynojet UK if your PC is not loaded with a map. He will let you know which is the closest map to suit your set up. They will be 90% - 95% optimised to your set up, to get any more optimised you will need a custom dyno
i dont need to know what all the stuff means, just as long as it works thats all i care about maximum temperature for tomorrow is 0 so i dont see me getting chance to test it out any time soon
Id be interwsted to know what your initial thoughts are when you ride her? ie is it worth £300? cheers
It's worth it purely for the extra mpg and the removal of the flat spot/ hesitation at 4k... Performance gains are negligible.
