Right I have just fitted a PCV on my bike. I accidentally put on the wrong map. I found that out today because my fule light came on 40 miles early. I have now refulled and put the standard map on for a bike with no mods. My bike is an 05 blade with a yoshi gp force can, no other mods. I am going to get a custom map done. this is just an interim thing. Here is the question. I downloaded the maps from power commander. saw on the website that the gp force map is clearly labled under the 2005 maps. Go to put it in but it comes up on the PC software that its for an 06-07 bike. Can i use this map? or will i be left short of fule again. I only did 80 miles and the fule light came on lol. wasnt hammering it either. Basically is dose the 06-07 use the same fule ratio as the 04-05?
Will be getting a dyno setup done as soon as i have the funds. Will leave the no mods map on for a few days and see what happens, If all is good then I will try the gp force map. Dyno will get done in march most likely.
Im just glad i have a laptop as well as a pc. How would i explain trying to get the bike up the stairs? lol.
