I have a PCV, Yoshi R77, standard filter and O2 eliminator on my blade... however since installing all these items it doesn't idle as smoothly as it did (could be a normal, but not as smooth as the standard one obviously) so I thought I would plug the PCV into my laptop again and reload the map.

Can anyone tell me what all the different things mean in the picture below? I'm most interested in the Duty % which is showing at 2, is this normal?

Everything else seems fine (TPS etc)

    Thanks in advance.

you need to reset the TPS when the engine is warm otherwise it will think 0% is when the choke is open.

i would try that first. run the engine to normal temp then plug in the laptop and reset the throttle.

When the engine is warmed up it reads 0% TPS anyway... I will try that again anyway and see if it works

Reset it again, it seem slightly better but that probably pshycological.

Its just a tiny bit lumpy at idle but I can live with it until I get a custom map on it.

I'm running a PC5 and full Yoshi system and my bike doesn't idle as well as it did when standard. I think that the maps are just "general" as each engine can be slightly different. Best thing to do is have the bike dyno'd

Tbh boys ive just done pcv leo k&n and eliminator and yes a little bit lumpy at idle its to do with the fact the standard bike ticks over at a slightly higher rpm 1320rpm compared to the can etc maps 1250 ish just increase your revs with the throttle and you will see what i mean!

Which map are you using GSP? I have the same setup as you. (R77 slip on, standard air filter and O2 sensor eliminator.) My bike is lumpy low down too. I perhaps didnt warm the bike up fully when resetting the TPS so will do that tomorrow.

Also, do you have a db killer fitted?

Mine idles lovely at 1100.... Scorpion exhuast + PCV + O2 Eliminator + K&N with the Scorpion map from the CD

However the Scorpion has a sports cast in the link pipe so could the lumpy idle be down to no cat atall ?
Im fitting a yoshi R77 today so it will be good to see if my idle is also lumpy when i chsange

I'm running the 504.PVM map... I've not got the db killer fitted though.

    Mine idles where it's supposed to 1200rpm +/- 100

I guess it's just a trait of removing the cat etc. I reset my TPS with the engine temp at 80c.

Interesting... I would love to know how you find it, I won't have a chance to touch my bike for another 2 weeks.
