    Hi Benn

I'm just waiting to get my exhaust, then I'll get the bike custom mapped. I wired in a map switch for the powercommander at the same time so I can get the bike tuned for different maps.

I'm still undecided on which exhaust to buy. Either the akrapovic or the yoshimura slip-ons.

Oh and don't worry the bike isn't normally as dirty as that. I was moving a lot of sand n stuff for the driveway. It's all cleaned now :)

The bike in the background is my mate SV. He's keeping it in there while he builds himself an extension onto his garage for a workshop :)

Great thread Colin. I've just been looking at the very first picture and noticed something I've never realised before.

With its mirrors tucked back like that the FireBlade looks like Sonic the Hedgehog.

All that got in the last ride out I had.

The r&g tailtidy I had fitted has a much too big hole in it where the wires goto the lights. Which let's the crud in. Needless to say it's now off and I'm making my own bracket and putting a rubber grommet in the hole for the wires, like they should've.

I agree totally. Just ripped my R & G off too, way too much metal, making my own from scratch, including a way to hide the wiring without the need of using cable ties.

I hope to see a picture of your finished product :)

    No probs.
Needless to say the guard will be custom made to my needs. The guys at work ask me why I put so much effort into things like a bracket. I tell them they don't ride bikes so they don't understand :)
