pneumonia jab

    has anyone here got it and was there any side effects.
    I ask as I got it yesterday but last night I haven't felt
    arm pain like it.needless to say I haven't slept even when
    throwing loads of painkillers into me then today I am constantly
    gagging.gonna see the doc at one but just wondered has anyone
    else experienced this??

    It's just like a 24hr bug mate, you will be fine, Probably end up with a bit of a runny nose too? The arm pain may be a couple of factors heavy handed nurse or you were a little tense when the needle went in?

    cheers for the reply, its like proper man flu,
    cold sweats an all.got the flu jab a few weeks
    ago and it was wee buns although it did have
    bruise feeling the next day.

    Bottom line what they have done is inject you with a virus which if you look at it this way is the most up to date known.
    So if you didn't have a cold/bug last year or a couple of your immune system handles the new one quite hard, a bit like rebooting your body with the latest software I guess?

    yeah I haven't been sick in at least a year.
    that's probably why its affecting me then.

    Regardless of it just being the symptoms, don't forget you can milk man flu with the wife ;)

    yeah she is doing the cleaning now lol.
    if only I didnt feel sick I could do with some grub,mind you
    im shivering that bad Im not sure I could get the food from
    my plate to my mouth.give me the flu anyday over this lol
    but then again im sure getting the virus for real is a hundred times worse.

    I've had double Pneumonia and proper Influenza. There's not much to choose between them in the feeling miserable stakes except that with the Flu, you know you will feel better. The pneumonia was very scary, with a lot of geezers in white coats looking at each other and shaking their heads.

    they offer me it every year on account of my asthma an i never have it,built up an immunity over the years as passengers cough n sneeze over you!

    Only coming round a bit there.
    Doc ordered me to take five days minimum
    Off work.said it's the worst allergic reaction
    To the jab that he as seen in ten year's :eek:
    So I'm on 13 tablets a day now 8 of them being
    Steroids lol.human rattle, all I want to to be able
    To sleep as my temp is 39 and I'm shivering uncontrollably
    Just it time for my only weekend off this month :(

    yup I just want back to stage 3,
    got about 3 hours kip so feeling a slight bit
    better but my arm is still killing me and the
    shivers are there.think it will be a day of bike
    DVD's for me......Faster being the first one.
