If i didn't have 1 already i would be snapping this up for definite I was watching it and it did not sell and its just been re listed as BUY NOW so acvt fast It says you need a usb ..... same as a camera cable And software .. Download it from the website eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
i would do but i dont think i need one, not really found the fueling that bad on my blade even with the yoshi on. i guess coming from twins i might be more forgiving
The only complaint i had with mine was the lumpy idle . The dynojet maps did not change it at all really but iv just loaded Mogsy's map on and the idle is loads better . Gonna get a map done over the winter so should looking forward to seeing what numbers she makes
I've got one which i'm getting rid of - i didnt like it at all.. its been mapped at Dynotech on a 2011 repsol blade with a Yoshi slip if anyone is interested. To be honest, i didnt feel the fuel costs were worth the extra HP (it made 171 at the rear ((approx 190 at the crank))
From what I am led to believe 164 is a realistic figure at the wheel mate, you may think I am only saying that because that's what mine made lol but having spoken to other peeps as well its seems about right. That's with Yoshi, Pipercross and Bazzaz
Hmm - well you better call Dynotech and let them know lol. Its because mine is orange and everyone knows its a faster colour
I've got to say that I defo felt a difference when I had the PC on my last bike. I cant speak for the blade yet as I've yet to try it out since fitting it. Did you get the PC tuned for your bike or was it from another bike that you just fitted to yours? Also I've fitted a map switch to my PCV that lets you choose between maps. So that if you wanted you could have a full power map or if you wanted you could have a map for fuel econ.
Yes it was custom mapped to my bike at Dynotech in September. I had a switch to turn it back to stock or utilize the map, but it just didnt feel right and i prefer the stock set up. I'll stick it on ebay soon (when i get round to it!) and i paid i think £180 for it of a 1000rr member, so if i can get somewhere near to that than i'm happy. i'll post it up here first..
you lose on average around 15+% from the wheel compared to the crank, so 180bhp standard blade will be around 152-153 at the wheel. A slip on and pc5 will add around 5-10bhp MAX depending where you get it dyno`d. Yoshimura state that it`s only a 2bhp increase with the slip on etc...
Thanks for confirming the figures Si - I do trust Dynotech whole heartedly as they have been around for many years and I'm sure if their Dyno was 'out' then they wouldn't have such a solid reputation. I dont know if this would make any difference to the figures but i had a lightweight chain, +2 on the rear and carbon wheels so the rotational mass might have affected it? Might have reduced the loss from crank to wheel?
There was guy i know had a gixxer thou, and he had a full system, pc3,filter, lightened this and that and said he was running 185 at the wheel. We went to the dyno to get my daytona set up and he slapped his on, his was making 156 at the wheel... only a few bhp up on standard.
Not at all! it depends on the dyno used mate... figures vary on different dynos for totally standard bikes at different places. Like i said, a rough figure is 15% loss at the wheel compared to the crank (so i'm told by Motrac) so if you are running 171 at the wheel then the crank will be around 200. If his dyno read that, then sorted mate! its dependent on the bike, the dyno, the set up, temperature etc..... If it's running good, who gives a toss?
