Power Commander III \ V

Hi,

what is the difference bettwen version III and Version V?

they both are listed for the RR4 \ RR5 - or is that incorrect?

Okay so is the V, more difficult to use? or similar to the III?

 

I think Dynojet may have discontinued the III for the 04-07.

The V is a better unit

So much smaller, you can wire a switch straight into it to switch between maps, if you have a probe in your exhaust you can use the Autotune, plug n play quickshifter (never be as good as the HM though).

 

V is smaller and has powered USB

 

I got a full race system on my 04...will that be an issue? as there are no Cats?

also fitting wise - is the V the same as III?

 

They are the same thing essentially. Fitting process is the same. The PC can be setup with a map which suits the mods your bike has. This means you need to either find a map that suits your mods or have a custom map made by a tuner.
