I've had a look at the video on youtube (and i've bookmarked the one on here to look at later) but there was talk of the Ignition Retard Controller .... I've had a look about and it seems to be for US bikes only, can anybody confirm?? Cheers, Fletch
Does the fuel tanks have NRVs in the outlets ... Or (unlike the video) can i expect fuel to pish out over my hands!
Unclip the fuel hose, it does have an automatic non return valve, you will lose a thimble of fuel, just put a rag under to catch that
No probs if you need any more help I am here all afternoon and have fitted my PCV on a couple of occasions now, it is easy to remove the tank and it gives you more room to sort the harness out if you can be arsed that is, otherwise just prop it up
Plan is to do it tomorrow or wednesday then fire the stock map into the PCV until i get up to Highland dynos
What mods you running mate ? I had a custom map done on my bike with the Akro and it is miles better now, well worth the time and expense
Cool will be interesting to see what you go with there seems to be a lot of good exhausts out there for the blade
Right that's the PCV fitted and bike running, power light on the box However I didn't pick up sensors for speed or anything else ... Which sensors should I be picking up? Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
You don't need to unless your adding shifter or autotune if it starts and lights on your done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh yeah I understand its in and working but wondering if its worth adding the speed sensor wire ... as in the install video ... Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
No but as said TPS is important! It should be set on the Dyno with 08+ blades and PCV.. Your near done...are you going to Dyno? http://www.powercommander.com/power...himpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=3_PC5.1.19.html
Seems to be ok, ill set it up when I get the laptop on and see what maps on it, (second hand pcv) I will get it dyno'd before I use in Amy anger this year! Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Yeah load a close map and get to the Dyno, leave the TPS alone is my advice as the RR8's power down the pcv when off its hard to reset the tps without running the motor, red line an unloaded motor is not a good idea..
