just got back from my Pre op. all seems to be going well and hoping to be just a day case with 2-6 weeks on crutches dependent on how much Bone needs to be removed which they will not know until the op

for a update this is what I have Osteophyte - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and the reason for the 3rd op, first on the left leg int he past 4 years :(

Good luck with it mate, I have a DVD of one of my knee ops, all of the inside pulling on my ligaments etc to show me the condition of it all. It's quite interesting but a crew of my mates won't watch it

    Good luck pal ..

    Those staples look painful .

I wonder if they will stitch your flesh with dissolvable's and just glue the top layer like they did with my back . Leaves such a neat scar its unreal

The staples were not that bad, hurt for the first few days if you moved and they did not. I think the reson forthm is how thick the skin and muscle around that area so the need to use a few staples to hold it closed
