Yes that's right and by at least 4p per litre and its going up in the next week ! There seems to be no explanation what so ever for this greed so we will have to see but of course one winner will be the Government as the tax and the vat will rise accordingly .Guess what you can't get out to fill up because the roads are blocked .

Sterling has been falling against the dollar and euro for the past fortnight, dropped about 6%

May be but I can't remember the price going down at the pumps when wholesale cost were low prior to Xmas. You never had this when it was priced per Gallon .There should be an automatic reduction in the fuel duty when this happens so its more balanced !

Allegedly wholesale prices went up 5p some time ago and since then the pumps have only been passing on about a penny of that, hence the fear that another 4p is imminent. Thats the story... not sure how much of it I buy though!

Just been watching the BBC News and the spokesman for the Petrol Retailers ie the guys that represent the petrol stations can only work out about 1p of this and say its all to do with the wheelers and dealers speculating .Its a Win win for everybody but us . Can't wait for the elections UKIP all the way they may not be able to change too much but they have the common man and women at heart and that's a big plus for me .

no doubt that means at least a 6p hike for us over here,
our fuel goes up with every once else but when the rest of
the uk get a drop ours seems to stay the same. our local
has had the diesel stuck around £1.50p/l since the summer.

Worth nipping south for a fill if you have a big tank to save 20%
