Hi girls and guys I have an CBR1000RR SP and also some problems with it In the middle of the track day I noticed that front suspension doesn't feel the same like when I started track day. Then I checked Spring Preload adjusters and they have been turned almost 2 turns from where I setup them. Conclusion : During ridding adjusters come loosen and they make suspension softer. I made a call to my dealership and after 2 months they gave me new Ohlins. After short ride I noticed that I have the same problem, called them again but now I got answer like: Ohlins contacted us and they said that it is normal for that front shocks to get loosen by 25% after every 100 km. So I am pissed off now and I would like to know what you would do? Thanks in advance
Think your dealer is giving you a load of bull crap! Never heard of suspension softening so quickly like that, I'd give a suspension specialist a call and see if they give the same answer ref ohlins
As above, that's complete nonsense. Those are not some cheep rubbish, its Ohlins, it will not just "loosen" by itself. I would be following this up and kicking up stink with the dealer.
