    Eyup peeps

GOt an issue with the 750 that reared its head last time I was at cadwell..

When the bike has been switched off in between sessions and then started it fires up nice and idles absolutely fine

But when setting off for assembly area in 1st it picks up a little then seems to cough/miss which jerks the bike and then it picks up again and goes, only time its done it any faster than that was on the pit straight where it did it straight after changing gear and only did it once.

Where's the best place to start looking??

I was gonna change the plugs and see how that goes, it has a power commander and custom map so dunno if its a bit lumpy or rich in low revs first gear.

The exhaust is slightly loose form the link pipe but not enough to allow any gasses to escape and its still secure on the bike.

    SO dunno...??

    Any pointers/ideas much appreciated

    TaTAR!!

Hi buddy firstly I'd take off power commander and try this will illiminate the PC . Then gixers suffer with coils 1 on every plug so would be a case of getting one and swopping 1 until its fine other than that mate usually bullet proof . Also bang a set of plugs in it while you in there

Only usual space like you say is in the tail fairing or some people root them by the clocks id lift tank and just follow wiring off injectors . Or even there will be a negative wire on the battery see which way that is heading

Yeah ill follow from ground wire good idea batman. its full system for exhaust so can only imagine it running like shit if disconnectes but atleast it would eliminate bad fuelling. cheers wedge!

Sounds similar to when I pinched my fuel line when I lowered my tank

Yeah ill check that when i lift the tank mate. Cant imagine it being a pinched fuel line if its only happening at slow speeds although id guess thatbwhen you go quicker more air=more fuel flow??

Mine was fine until I gave full throttle from slow speeds, almost threw me over the bars a few times!

Possibly worth checking the throttle position sensor is functioning correctly if the above advice doesn't work. I had similar misfiring/jerks/sudden brief loss of power when the TPS went; admittedly on my car. I had an aftermarket ECU so was able to plug the laptop in and graph the sensor outputs. It would spike down to a zero throttle reading briefly despite me being on the throttle, and as a result the ECU then chopped the fuelling to suit the false readings. It felt just like a misfire and was intermittent, and normally as I throttled on slightly

Hope that's of some help. Might be totally irrelevant but worth adding to the list

Ok ive had a good go over the bike. Disconnected the fuel injection module and no issues. cleaned the air filter (didnt need much). checked plugs and theyre good as new. fuel lines were free no signs of being pinched. tps looks ok. ive wd40d as many connectors as i could see incase water had got in anywhere. so dunno what else it could be??
