Ok so ive just changed the stock exhaust to a slip on and the this is the story- Well after many hours of fitting it i took it for a spin and found it to be real jerky and riding shite so talked to friends and blogs etc and i have a power commander on the way all good? Well ive started the bike just to keep the battery ok etc the other day and it held 1000 revs than after a while it started stuggling so turned it off the tried the restart and wouldn tick over, so today i tried to start it and would on the fisrt start only with revs so tried again and wont start?? so makes me think is it a fuel problem have i done something wrong when resembling? the only things i touched where lifted fuel tank and idle speed, off work tomo so will be able to have a better look have anyone any ideas???

Sounds like you've kinked the fuel pipe! Easy done, also check the drain while your in there or it will fill with water..

Fuel line is connected with two BIG banjo bolts but it's poss to squash the line when the tank is lowered, the drain always gets kinked if not pulled back into place, I disconnect it half way down then route the part that goes to the tank then reconnect once tanks back down, check your fuel line first but thats my guess...

No throttle, can you hear fuel pump run? If not check plug is ok, if you wind if over just a sniff of throttle, I have seen RR7's flood up so yes its poss! :)

Note: dont forget RR's often wind over with the kill swith in OFF....lol

My battery is a bit crap like that, a few attempted starts without the bike firing into life and I recon mine would be almost flat too!

Ok, well I just re-read the problem post (1) in case I missed something... I see no reason why other than the batt was low/flat and it was not cranking fast enough for it to now not start, power to the fuel pump, ecu and other electronics is purely provided by the battery the only power the stator/gen provides is charging to the battery so thats why RRs don't start or run with faulty or low battery's, unlike some bikes where ignition power is provided from separate windings in the generator. I think the bike is flooded and for some reason is not clearing, whens the last time you checked the air filter? If you still cant get it fired up I hate to say it but you will need to remove the plugs and dry them, sometimes helps to wind the motor with the plugs out! Maybe at the same time you could fit the PC? Only problem with that is adding another load of electronics before the bike runs again could give you more to fault find!
