Following my slow speed off into the kitty litter at oulton, im starting to re-build the beast. Jobs to do:- Replace LHS Mid fairing Replace upper Fairing (carbon), R&G Generator cover, Motographix number board, Fit Carbon Belly pan, Fit R&G Areo Sliders, Flapper mod to air tubes, Paint scratches to swing arm and tank, This should have been an easy job, but washers are to big and needed re shaping to fit!! Left hand fairing off and flapper out, I have shaped a round(ish) cover out of an old air tube cover. Does anyone know if the collector in the nose can be removed as well without a fault code?
Here is the nose ready to go on (pre preg) Number board, not sure wether to use the smaller ones next to the lights yet. Now for the scratches,
Make her bigger and better mate .. How long did the belly pan take to come . 60 odd bloody days i waited for mine . Well worth it thou
took about 45 days, I have put far too much heat shield on it and made it heavier than standard. I will take some off as its not near the exhaust.
I now have the nose on and although it looks a little too good to cover, the Gel board will protect it, the question is do I put the additional stickers on by the lights? It think it looks a little too much with both although they would look ok on their own. Whats the general consensus, http://www.msa-direct.co.uk/ProdImages/motografix_number_board_honda_cbr1000rr.jpg
It turned out less useful than a set of wets would of been, I can test it more now the bike is back together.
