First of all many thanks for the warm welcome I received on the newbies page. Originally I was planning to pick the bike up from the dealer on Monday, however I managed to squeeze an extra few hours into my day today. With a bit of spare time I rang the dealer who had the bike ready so I thought, 'Why not!' First impressions are --- Bloody Fantastic!!. Rode her sixty five miles today, unfortunately The New Forest was teaming with traffic so I couldn't stretch her legs too much. Found the bike very smooth and controlled at low speeds, if not a little hard on the wrists, but that's something I will get used to. My last bike was a much more 'sit-up 'n beg' position. On the odd occasion I could crank her up, she flew! It's a rocket ship. Will get a few more miles turned this week, maybe even a morning blat tomorrow. Here are a few pics.
Got out this morning nice and early, what a blast! Bike feels so good it's almost too good, if you get me.
