    Hi guys,

    Have an 05 1000rr 25k
Friends were behind me tonight saying
My bike was puffing a little smoke just as I popped a wheelie.
I thought this was weird considering it was fine under normal acceleration and even hard engine braking. Would only do it with a low gear wheelie using clutch.
Any ideas bike has yoshimaru exhaust
Cat still in place and a pc3 not long took ownership so wondering what this could be.
    bike drives great no spluttering/hesitation.
    Thanks.

How long was the wheelie??....assuming it's all ok now check your air box for oil it's possible oil has got in via the crankcase breather.
Oh and welcome to the forum.

    Hi thanks for the welcome,

It would only puff a bit on the initial pop up phase just wen I give the beans to get it up.
Generally speaking my wheelies could last 100/200 meters nothing crazy.
I wonder if it's unburnt fuel from rolling off throttle then rolling back on and slipping the clutch?
Think it could be the map?
Or maybe oil is getting into the overflow system then into the air box from tge continues wheelies I did top it up the other day just before a track night.
    Hopefully it's nothing serious lol
