As I should be selling the bike soon I want to remove the Yoshi R77 exhaust i have on the bike, I never fitted this as it went on at the 600 mile service and the original exhaust has lived in a box since. I was told that when a mate removed his old exhaust you had to cut off a gasket. Can anyone inform me if this is 100% accurate and if so I will need to buy a new gasket to fit the exhaust back on cheers Matt
there is a metalised ring that slips onto the exhaust pipe . when the exhaust has been clamped to it ,it holds its shape . i found that once the exhaust can had been removed i couldn't get the standard exhaust to fit back over it and had to cut it off. i think this is the part number 18391-mel-000 ,but you would need to check to chassis number
