Have these changed from 08-11 to 12-13 bikes or still the same ?

Want to buy one to splice Gilles VCR brake switch into but can't tell if 08 cheaper ones will fit 13

    Thanks :)

What is it you want to do?

I fitted my new Gilles VCRs at the weekend and just cut the existing brake loom (only two wires) at a point just behind the oil filter and connected (soldered for a trouble free connection) two of the three wires (grey and brown, blue is redundant) from the Gilles brake switch. Only had to work out which wires went to the loom wires and that was it.

I have VCR's on bike now but no oem brake light switch (ordered today at a cost of £30 or £40) now need to order the Gilles brake light switch to splice with the oem switch, bike was going to be used on track but am putting it back on road. Like Jamie didn't fancy cutting into something I'd just paid for but if needed ill jut buy another at a later date.. It's only money lol
