just wondering if any of you guys notice a slight "creak" so to say
in the clutch lever when you go to shift down?
feels a bit like a cable on the way out but only does this when
you are riding.stationary it doesnt happen.
    anyone else have this??

Just about everybody I've talked to. It seems it's quite normal.

Having just bought a new blade with a slipper clutch I experienced the same think, I took it back to the honda garage to be informed that it is normal for a slipper.

Yeh same on my 09. In addition to this though, at the clutch end, I did notice on mine that the clutch cable guide was set at a slightly different angle to that of the run of the cable, this caused the cable to "rub" on the inside edge of the guide when the clutch was in or out. No big deal I guess but with the guide being in parallel with the cable this would help towards a slightly smoother operation.

WOW, I have the same thing with mine... The clutch cable has actually worn down the guide because the angle was wrong...

I must check mine for wear too.

you think with a few of us asking the dealers or other owners then
they might put a note in the owners book that nothing it wrong.
