quick question

What colour should the engine case cover be on a 2010 blade ??

 

Hrc's, black ones and white/black blades were black engine casings.

Red and red/black blades had a sort of beige metallic bronze colour.

So a black 2010 blade should not be bronze . . engine change ??

 

Or a fairing change?

 

Cheers Pete . . I had a look on there and saw some black some bronze hence my confusion

 

Or could be a 10 plate that was late registered, it's not an indication of a fraudy bike. The v5 would show the original colour if there's been a change and if the engine was swapped there should be a record of the change of engine number etc

 

The bike has done 30000 miles so could be a gamble

 

Could just be a late registered 09 plenty of black Blades with beige covers.

 

I will be buying it (if i go for it) online and shipping it so i wont see it in the flesh until its too late

 

I hope it's a cheap un' at that mileage.

for me,buying a bike with that many miles on it,with out being able to go over it closely would be a big gamble,unless it was dirt dirt cheap

 

I am on the look out for a blade since i sold my 2012 a few months ago but cant find anything at the right money yet . .

True dat . .

 

Only problem really with a 30k bike (except potential mechanical problems) is resale.

You are going to bang your head off a wall trying to sell it with 35-40k or more miles.

 

My memory tells me that only the 08 model had bronzish colour and 09 onwards have all been dark grey/black.

 

Anyone around london that wants to take a look at it for me

 

The bike is a 08 but not registered until 2010

 

all models from 2009 (not registration) black cases !
