    Hi chaps,
I'm wondering if a bazzaz sensor can be replaced with any other sensor. I know it's a 3 pin lead whereas others are 2 pin. I've looked at an alternative sensor but it will cost around £50 and I'm not brilliant with fiddling tasks if I'm honest.

The bazzaz has three wires as it requires 9-12 v on one wire to operate the proximity sensor. The other two wires provide the trigger and the earth. I know some people have replaced a Bazzaz with the likes of a dynojet sensor and it apparently worked fine. I can repair Bazzaz shifters if you are interested or I buy broken ones.

Thanks for your reply brg. Would a dynojet sensor not need the 12v feed?
