Just finished installing some R&G parts - left and right side engine case covers and frame sliders. All went together very easily and fitted well.

One question - the R&G literature states a torque of 40 Nm for the frame sliders, but the Honda Manual states 64 Nm. Has anyone come across this before and what would you recommend ?

One thing I did noticed was that when tightening the sliders, they would rotate out of position - I ended up having guestimate how much it would rotate and wind it back, so when tightened it would end up in the right position.

    Before and after photos below:

Left hand side - handy that the fairing split was where it was - meaning that the lower fairing can be easily dropped down and removed ( the R&G slider stays in place)

    Good work.
Re the slider bolts, R&G use a milder metal which can bend in an off. It may be that over tightening the bolt can weaken it.
